When it rains, it pours!

We've had some wild rains here the past few days! We can hear the rush of the swollen creeks from quite a distance. Some parts of the creek beds have eroded significantly, but the roots of trees like these along the banks are doing their part in erosion prevention. Without these trees next to the water - the "riparian buffer" - we would have seen much more serious damage. Here's hoping for calmer weather!
